I've had a One and Charge HR 2 for a while; they are very good at keeping a live handshake with both my iPhone 6SE and iPad (kudos to Fitbit for allowing multiple sync targets).
I've had the Inspire HR for about a week (hoping to replace the One and Charge), but it loses pairing with the 6SE. I've tried all-day pairing and that is not working either.
It appears I need to open up the app and pull to refresh.

Hmmm... Seems that the app update might be the problem. I thought maybe it was the Android 10 update (I have a Google Pixel, so got it early), but the problems seem to correspond to the Fitbit app update around the end of Sept. So.... Fitbit, what are you doing?
I posted this in a different Forum thread, but I think this might be a more appropriate place.
I have had syncing issues for about two weeks now. It's a bunch of weird symptoms, so not sure which piece of the process is causing problems:
First, all the tech background.
Original Google Pixel XL phone running Android 10 (updated approximately Sept 12)
Fitbit Inspire HR purchased in August 2019
1. Inspire HR will sync once -- after I've gone through all the steps (see below) -- but then won't continue to sync throughout the day.
2. My phone's bluetooth never shows the Fitbit as paired with the phone, even right after it has been successfully synced. It appears when I ask the phone to "Pair new device," but never shows it as actually making the connection. In addition, it doesn't show up under the list of "previously synced devices."
3. It seemed that the Fitbit would disconnect after the phone was fully charged, such as in the middle of the night after the phone had been plugged in. When I didn't let the phone charge past about 75%, it seemed to stay connected for more than 36 hours. However, never fully charging my phone seems to not be a good option in the long run.
4. I have restarted the Fitbit. I have turned off Bluetooth and turned it back on. (Note the part about the phone never showing a connection to the Fitbit.)
5. The ONLY thing that seems to work is restarting the phone. But needing to restart my phone every time I want to sync my Fitbit seems, well... suboptimal. I don't want to restart the phone even every 12 hours. I want the Fitbit to do what it says it will do -- all day sync.

Having the same problem with my Pixel 2. It's been syncing fine for months, but for the last few weeks, I can't get my phone to recognize my Inspire HR. I've tried rebooting both, turning on and off Bluetooth, forgetting the device, all of that, and nothing. It just doesn't exist anymore.

I'm having trouble with syncing my Fitbit Inspire HR. I've tried all that was said, but it seem the only way to get it to sync is to delete the app and re-load it.
I also lose the exercise shortcuts on the Fitbit. I have 5 different exercise selected but when the Fitbit can't sync, the exercise that come up on the Fitbit are all Pilates (I lose my run, treadmill, interval workout, bootcam and hike).

I have a couple week old HR & am using an iPhone XS. I tried the restart & now the Bluetooth works. however the larger issue is that as of last Fri the Heart Rate feature croaked. I paid extra for this, so I'm a bit frustrated. I've done restarts & blue tooth reboots, etc. HELLLLPPPP!!

Give up on your fitbit and get a device that is less error prone. Take it from me you can spend days of your life trying to get a fitbit to sync. There are better ways to fritter away your life.

So, after getting a new phone (Pixel 4) and transferring the app to that,
it seems to be working without a hitch.

After getting a new phone (Pixel 4) and using the app with that, I have had no more problems. Weird, because my old phone (original Pixel) was running the same version of Android OS and the same version of the app.

I'm getting the same Bluetooth error message with my new Inspire HR as everyone else. I occasionally had trouble with my Alta HR syncing, but was always able to resolve the problem on my own. Should I just give up and return the new tracker and additional bands I purchased?
