My Fitbit Inspire HR does not show bpm when exercising.  It used to do so.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. First, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors of your device are still flashing? When was the first time you experienced this situation and how many times since then? Does this occurs when specific exercises or with all of them? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why don't I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Hi

I hope you don’t think I am to dim. I did go into “Why don’t I see my heart rate on my Fitbit device?”

On looking at the this :

On your device, open the Settings app > Heart Rate > tap to turn the setting On.

On my device I don’t have the Settings app. Can you help.

I also tried the app on the mobile but not where to turn on .


Good news I played about with the device and eventually got settings, along with other things which I had never seen before. I may add this is the first time I have seen Settings on the device. Also I don’t know what I did to get this info. Is there more info that I should be reading.
