I am using my fourth Fitbit product. My previous inspire hr was replaced by the company as it had lost several of its tracking cap. Now, since replacement, it has never registered anything close to my recommended number of calories, which it did many days of the week before. Is this just another failed product?

@Zooloo Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.
I appreciate the details mentioned.
I would like you to confirm your personal information is properly entered in your Dashboard. Fitbit devices combine your basal metabolic rate (BMR), BMR is based on the physical data you entered in to your Fitbit account (height, weight, sex, and age) and accounts for at least half the calories you burn in a day. Because your body burns calories even if you’re asleep or not moving, you see calories burned on your device when you wake up and will notice this number increase throughout the day. How many calories burned are you receiving with your Inspire HR?
Keep me posted. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
