Inspire HR not tracking distance accurately

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I've had my Inspire for 14 months. Every day I walk/run 6.1 miles up the mountain and back. My Inspire tracks anywhere from 5.4 to 5.9. OK but the last 2 days it's done 3 to 4 way way off. I also fast run 2 miles on a treadmill each night it tracks half. I've rebooted cancelled the app reinstalled it. Today again I have 4 miles. There is no cell phone coverage where I walk. Any suggestion? I'm having 2nd thoughts about an upgrade.

Thanks, out of desperation I bought a fitbit charge 4. I've been wearing
both all day. A bit of a joke there is currently 300 step difference
between the two.Along with .2 mile difference, it's just so frustrating for
a serious walker like myself.

Thank you for your reply, @Kiaora45.

I appreciate the update and I am sorry to hear about the frustration this situation has caused. At times, you might notice slight variations between the trackers due to improvements in the algorithm.
