Inspire HR not tracking heart rate

My Fitbit Inspire HR is not showing a HR. Typically there is a green light that is always lit on the back of the device and now there’s no light. For several hours today my screen would only stay on the HR/time, but now it is showing steps and everything else when I tap it. But still no HR, no green light. It’s almost fully charged right now (95%) and just synced to the app. Help!!!

My HR is on my Fitbit but the green light is still not on and I already try what you said to do but it didn't work. Please help.

None of those suggestions worked. I reset, I made sure the HR was turned on in the settings, I cleaned the band with an alcohol wipe. I just noticed now that the green light is actually back on (it was off for several days) but now my device seems to be stuck on the calorie screen so I’m not sure if the HR is working or not. This thing is driving me crazy with all of its various malfunctions. This is my 3rd Fitbit and they have all had so many issues.
