I recently bought an Inspire HR and it isn’t tracking my swims. Yesterday it didn’t register any exercise at all and today it register my hour swim as steps but not exercise or swim. Very frustrating. I swim everyday at least 2000m. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

Hi @emlelou I am assuming you have an Inspire HR - there are no exercise shortcuts for the Inspire (with no HR)
In your app go to the page for the Inspire HR - select the tiny tracker icon on the top right corner of the app dashboard page)
Then scroll down to Exercise Shortcuts (under the 'General' heading). There you can change the shortcuts that appear on the Inspire HR - a maximum of 6

Hi @Ang1t Are you using the automatic detection feature to track your swims? Or the Exercise shortcut? It should automatically detect, so if it is not, restart your Inspire HR several times and see how it goes next swim. However I prefer to use the exercise shortcut as the times are more precise that way. It might be worth having a try at using that (you may need to add the swim shortcut to the inspire from the app)

Where is the exercise shortcut please? I can only change the detection minutes or turn off the auto detect for each type of exercise on the Fitbit app?

Thank you ever so much!
Just found out you can start and stop exercises on the actually Fitbit inspire HR unit itself by flicking up 🙂

I am having the same issue. Have it set for auto tracking, just did a half hour walk and it recorded ONE minute of CIRCUIT TRAINING! I have only had this thing for a few hours and so far it is more troublesome than any of my 3 previous trackers. I'm going back to my Charge 2 HR and this thing is going back.

Its ridiculous. I spent 15 minutes in the jacuzzi at the gym this morning and it recorded a 12 minute outdoor bike ride. 29 cals and 100% fat burn 😂. I've been advised to try and reset my fitbit which I will do before my swim tomorrow and see if that works.
