My Inspire HR is not accurately tracking my sleep. Sometimes it doesn't track it at all! I have tried resetting it a few times, but that has not worked. HELP, PLEASE! Thanks!

Hello, I let it do it’s thing last night & it did give a sleep
break down but not the sleep stages. Which is what I want.
I’m going to try & wear it further up my wrist tonight as they recommend you do this & see.
I’ve always used the in app to say I’m going to bed it took an hour after I’d gone to bed to start my sleep information.
i just hope Fitbit sort the issue soon. 🤞🏻

Hi, @croalexander , in order. to get "sleep stages" you should NOT use the app to start sleep. Using the app in the past won't cause any problems, but moving forward, just let the Inspire HR do its thing. It *should* work, but also bear in mind that your Inspire HR will need to be able to track your heart rate consistently in order to record sleep stages. This can be affected by how tightly or loosely you wear the band, and the position on your wrist. The device will also need to have sufficient battery (ideally keep it above 20-30%)
Try just letting it do its thing, and not using the app and let us know if this works.

I just downloaded the update myself and will see what happens to sleep tracking tonight. It would be nice if FitBit confirmed the update contained a fix for the sleep problem

Just started using an Inspire yesterday. Great tracker, but I have experienced this issue, as well.
Today, I updated the software that was sent out. Noticed that my Inspire defaulted to "One Clip." Switched it back. Hopefully tonight I'll get some data from my sleep.

I don’t think so -
after update sleep tracking still not working
in fact it didn’t pick up my wake time accurately which wasn’t even a problem
before😤

The update fixed my issue. Fitbit is now logging sleep.

Tracker is on Sensitive for sleep detection for 2 weeks.
Before the update, it logged sleep 1 hr after sleep. I am still not satisfied with this as I can never reach 8 hrs of record if tracker loses an hour of sleep.
After the update, noticed that there is missing data in the middle of the night. Same thing happens the next day (with full battery). Please advise.

Yup I still have same issues: seems to miss the first couple of hours of sleep and sometimes misses entire chunks of time in the middle. Glad the update worked for some folks , just not all of us I guess

10pm I go to bed I’m sure I’m sleeping shortly after but let’s say 10.30pm. The inspire won’t count till 2:10am. Why is it that it works on time when I have a nap in the afternoon right on time but not at night? If this doesn’t count it right and Considering that it counts just about anything as a step that isn’t and the missing heart rate while working out(not always). How does it help with my goals if the input data is off? Really considering going with a different brand at this point.

Same problem here, again
3rd screen shot above is what I first saw in sleep tracker
then I edited log to enter my actual bedtime (2nd screen above)
it then recalculated and is missing a chunk of time (I’ll post next)
I shouldn’t have to enter actual sleep start and shouldn’t have missing chunks of time .
Update not working

I was not getting any sleep data in my fitbit app. I went to the + sign on the dashboard page and added a sleep log for last night. The data then appeared for that night.
Is that the way it has to be done, or is there automatic daily log creation somehow?
