My Inspire HR is not accurately tracking my sleep. Sometimes it doesn't track it at all! I have tried resetting it a few times, but that has not worked. HELP, PLEASE! Thanks!

I’m sorry everyone is still having problems. I continue to have lots of problems too, not only with sleep but with other things. My hourly steps are done according to the Fitbit but when I sync they don’t show up on the app. I don’t use the alarms, they don’t always go off when you push the button. I had to turn off the low battery notice, it would just go off randomly. I could go on and on. It’s frustrating that Fitbit is willing to waste so much of my time and theirs giving me the run around, deflecting and giving me “solutions” that don’t work. This is my third or perhaps fourth Fitbit and I’m pretty sure my last. It’s not so much that the inspire is bad product, things happen, it’s the way Fitbit has handled it. The worst thing is they continue to sell it knowing it doesn’t work correctly. I don’t want to do business with a company that will lie, cheat and steal. I want to do business with a honest company that I can trust, that company is not Fitbit.

Hello, I think the inspire hr doesn’t do short bursts of. Sleep. It’s a
pain I know.
It’s like being active for over 10 minutes before exercise is recognised.
Sorry don’t know what you can do?!

My inspire is new, only had it a week. Tracked my sleep accurately the first few days, and for some reason now it’s only doing simplified tracking. The heart rate monitor is turned on, I let it detect automatically at night.. so I’m unsure as to why it has started doing simplified tracking.

Hi, you need to make sure your sleep is set to sensitive in advanced
settings.
It’s all a bit hit & miss. Sometimes my sleep is accurate but other nights
I check my watch so I know what time I’m actually about to turn off the
light & then sometimes it’s half an hour to two hours out so I manually
amend it & then it recalculates.
I hope you’ll get it working properly soon x

I've been on the phone with customer service for over half an hour and no solution.  They apparently don''t keep track of issues and resolutions.

At this point I gave up, 2 month with zero solutions. Time to bite the bullet and call it a loss. Anyone have good suggestions for better trackers?

My Inspire HR tracked heart rate intermittently. Very disturbing. Also do not track my sleep. What is wrong with this product? Can we change or replace with new one?

This was helpful! Mine had somehow turned itself to OFF without me realising. Hopefully that will sort the sleep tracking issue I was having too!!

Not a bad idea to change, my continues not to track sleep for the full
night.

Same here. It only shows me Sleep Stages for the first 2 nights while the other nights are just Sleep Quality despite having consistent measure of my heart rate for these nights. I had actually turned on “Begin Sleep Now” for the first 2 nights.

Perhaps I will not turn on “Begin Sleep Now” tonight to see if what others suggested is true since there was a firmware update recently.

I finally get it to record my sleep stages.

As shared previously, I’d only managed to get Sleep Stages on my first 2 nights. After that, FitBit app only gave simplified analysis of my sleep even though it measured my heart rate throughout the night.

This is how I got mine to work:

1. Do not press “Begin Sleep Now”

2. Wear your FitBit to sleep and let FitBit do the wonder

3. Once you have woken up, sync the data to the phone.

Note:

- You will only see the information after the data is fully synchronised.

- You do not need to turn on your phone to synchronise the data continuously during the night.

What can I do about my sleep records?  I am getting between 6 and 7 hours a night but it says I am only getting 2.7 or 3.31 etc which is very inaccurate.  How can I reset it to record correctly?   This is an almost brand new Inspire HR and I don't like that it starts right off having so much trouble.

On another topic, how can I record water aerobics?  I do 45 minutes of water aerobics in deep water 3 times a week.  When I bought my new Inspire HR it said it was waterproof for swimming.  I wonder if that is true?  Also, how does it record the water aerobics?  Do I need to set something on it for that activity?

Does anyone ever answer these questions?  thanks,  Linda

Mine is not working either.  Actually, several of the features that worked on my Flex 2 are not working on my Inspire....very frustrating.
