My Inspire HR is not accurately tracking my sleep. Sometimes it doesn't track it at all! I have tried resetting it a few times, but that has not worked. HELP, PLEASE! Thanks!

Hi,

I feel like I have tried everything- never had this issue with the change 2. I have tried different wrists, different tightness and haven’t even attempted to “start sleep” so it can’t be that?

any other ideas anyone?
thank you in advance

Mine use to start recording my sleep automatically when I fell asleep up to when I got out of bed and would also note deep sleep etc. It has stopped doing any of that. I have to put it in myself through the app on my phone. I've tried restarting etc, but still noting.

I talked to several different Fitbit consultants.  The last one had me turn the Inspire off and hold it 3 seconds I think until the message said something about completely shutting off.  I was afraid to do that because the message also showed that it would erase the history.  But it only erases that day's information and everything on your phone app still has all the previous stats.    So I did and it works great now, tracking sleep and activity.Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

I did the restart I think..... put it on the charger and hold button down
for five seconds until you see a smile face and now it seems to be working
but I only have one night to go by. Will see if it continues to work

This is exactly what mine is doing.  It worked great for the first 8 days (got it for Christmas), then stopped tracking sleep altogether.  😞

I have had mine since christmas it has tracked my sleep in stages 3 times that's it I have information from where I manually done it and I have reset it a couple of times my heartrate is on I wear it on my wrist 2 fingers above my wrist bone n its charged up too the reason I wanted this one is because of the sleep stages n heartrate technology I had wished I had gotta a different one now because I have also had issue with counting my steps accurately too

Me too very disappointed with this one n it's my first fitbit I did my research but I guess I should have done more before deciding

Same here. I've been in communication with the fitbit help desk -- they
don't seem to have any answers. 😞

Definitely try the restart.  Mine has been working great ever since. It even tracks "sleep" if I'm just sitting watching tv.  🙂  I just delete those from my logs.  I'd much rather have it be sensitive like this than not working.

Try the restart.  It has fixed everything for me.
