My Inspire HR is not accurately tracking my sleep. Sometimes it doesn't track it at all! I have tried resetting it a few times, but that has not worked. HELP, PLEASE! Thanks!

You can edit the log the next day and put in what time you get up. It should combine the sleep.

I've done the restart twice and the updates. Both times I did the restart,
it worked that night and then stopped again. 😞

It took me 3 tries with different help desk agents until I got the answer that solved my problems. I just recommend restart and go from there.

Maybe you can trade it in to Fitbit. Or just restart it in the mornings or evening before you go to bed.
I took mine off the band and wear in a clip or in a pocket on my nightshirt. Maybe that would work

It never tracks my naps. I am highly disappointed with the problems w the sleep tracking. I bought it for that purpose and it not once has accurately tracked my sleep. It seems this is a problem across the board. Are you all working to fix it??

@Efneely It won't track you're heart rate or sleep cycles for anything under 3 hours. I nap during the day too, so if it's under 3 hours it won't track, sometimes it'll do it for 2.5 hours but not ofte

I simply wore (and wear) mine to bed and it doesn't track my sleep at all. All other functions are normal. My Fitbit Flex tracked sleep fine until it broke.

I had the same issue and noticed this note;
it stopped showing sleep at 2 hrs ask it wouldn’t give any info. But at the time it quit my sleep was the time that I was waking up every 15 minutes moving. If you move too much or don’t get good sleep it doesn’t count it. You can enter your time asleep and time awake manually and it willing give you your asleep time and restless time. You just won’t get them REM or full world up of your sleep.
WHAT SLEEP INFORMATION DOES MY FITBIT DEVICE TRACK?
If your device doesn’t track heart rate, you see your sleep pattern in the Fitbit app. Your sleep pattern includes your time spent awake, restless, and asleep. Restless sleep indicates that you moved in your sleep, like tossing and turning. If your device detects excessive movement—enough that restful sleep would not be possible—your device records time spent awake.
HOW DO I SEE MY SLEEP INFORMATION?
Sync your Fitbit device each morning to see last night's sleep stats, including sleep score, on your wrist or in the Fitbit app.
HOW DOES MY FITBIT DEVICE AUTOMATICALLY DETECT SLEEP?
All wrist-based Fitbit devices automatically detect your sleep when you wear your device to bed. We recommend wearing your device in a snug wristband while sleeping; don’t wear your device in a clip or pendant accessory.
When your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your Fitbit device records that you’re asleep.

Actually, I returned my Inspire and replace it with a Fitbit InspireHR and haven’t had any trouble tracking my sleep. 😊
Warmest Regards,
Gloria
