My Inspire HR is not accurately tracking my sleep. Sometimes it doesn't track it at all! I have tried resetting it a few times, but that has not worked. HELP, PLEASE! Thanks!

I am having the same issue. Sleep mode is darkened out, not working. When I sync it with the app, the app shows my sleep stats. Frustrating, I don’t want to go to the app daily to see my sleep stats.

@npappas @LJ31 @rsaugust @croalexander @Notts @Lloyd2 @Hayou @Emco @Luvmymon @Millennium Thanks for your comments. If you have followed our recommendations to track your sleep without luck, please be aware that your feedback has been passed to our engineers to have them take a look as well.
@croalexander Like @Julia_G mentioned, in order to get sleep stages you don't need to use the app to start sleep. You can stop using the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app and just wear your Fitbit Inspire HR and it should work without any problem.
@Louise154 Thanks for your comprehension and for the time you spent trying to get this issue resolved.
@LJ31 @rsaugust We have been informed the latest firmware version (1.60.39) includes bug fixes and improvements. At the moment, there is no other information we can provide.
@garyteed Thanks for your comments. Please let us know if you are now back on track.
@Harper1973 I'm glad to hear that you are now back on track. Thanks for letting us know.
@LilBigFoot Thanks for the attached image. Please make sure that you are following our instructions to track your sleep. If this doesn't help, please perform a restart to your Inspire HR by following these steps.
@Gonzo3008 I'm sorry to hear that you are considering going with a different brand. We are constantly working to improve the Fitbit experience. Please perform a restart to your Inspire HR and turn off and back on the heart rate to see if this resolves the issue. The heart rate can be found on the setting of your Inspire HR.
@curtdo You can find instructions to track your sleep on this post.
@BancroftStreet I'm sorry to hear that your cellphone is not part of the list of compatible devices. Our team constantly add new devices. You can check it out once in a while to see if there are new devices.
@Julia_G Thanks for your support.
If necessary, you can manually add or edit your sleep by following these steps.

Just checking in- sleep tracking still not working accurately. Misses hours at beginning of bedtime which I have to correct by editing sleep log. Makes me think this functionality is unreliable on Inspire HR

Hi there. I have done all of these things and my sleep tracking is still inaccurate. It stops tracking at all for hours at a time during the night. My data is skewed because it shows I may have had one hour and 45 minute chunk of sleep and another 3 hour check, and that’s all for the night. In reality, I was in bed for 9 hours sleeping.
I bought my Inspire HR largely for the sleep tracker, so I am hugely disappointed.

The sleep tracking is very important to me too. The main reason I got the HR. I’ve given up trying to get Fitbit to help, it is too frustrating. I’ve just accepted that it doesn’t work, they know it, they can’t or won’t fix it. They win, they got us to buy this product, we lose. It’s to stressful to keep dealing with. I hope you have better luck than me.

Good luck with everything.
Mine is fortunately is now functioning as it should.
Pllease see my previous posts for the fb page for Fitbit. A lot of people have complained about various Fitbit’s & have had solutions etc. A lot of it initially may be things you may have already tried.
But definitely worth a go.
Good Luck.

Hi, it is a pain but mine is functioning properly now.
only one night of difficulty & my battery showed 22%. Other people had posted to say that was an issue for them as well.
contact Fitbit on their fb page. Have a read through what others have written. They’ve helped a lot of people.
Good Luck!
