Inspire HR not turning on or taking a charge

I am experiencing problems with my Inspire HR. I purchased it a little over a year ago from Best Buy and it was working fine until this past weekend. It was not damaged in any way, but now it will not turn on even after being charged. I have tried to reboot it by holding the button down for 5, 10, and 15 seconds. I have also tried to disconnect it from my Fitbit app and reconnect it; this worked briefly but then my watch just shut down again. I have tried cleaning the charging areas with a small amount of rubbing alcohol but it has not helped. It seems to be a software issue or malfunction. I have been happy with my Fitbit thus far but will no longer continue to support the brand if I can't get this issue resolved.

Hi @sjpopol, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire HR stopped turning on and it won't take a charge. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I would like to know if your Inspire HR vibrates when you put it on the charger. In the meantime, try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Finally, charge your Fitbit device for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Thanks for your reply. It does not vibrate when I put it on the charger. I tried the troubleshooting steps that you linked but none of them applied. I also charged it for a few hours and nothing happened.

@JuanJoFitbit Any update on this?

Hi - could you please forward my case onto support as well. My Fitbit is still on as has 17% charge but will not charge (have tried everything suggested) so assume when it dies it will also not turn on and not charge. This started today - seemed OK yesterday.
