Inspire HR not turning on

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My inspire HR has gone to a black screen and will not charge or sync. I have tried holding the button down for 5 seconds, cleaning the contacts and charging it. No luck...it is dead. The smiley face comes up and it vibrates but nothing else happens. Very disappointed in this product.

Hi. I am having exactly the same problem - the app says my HR is charged but the screen is constantly blank and just vibrates now and then. It won't sync with the app either for the recent upgrade or to show activity. Would be interested to hear how you resolve this so I can try the same thing.

@Nibs2509, thanks for letting me know about your Inspire HR behavior, as well for confirming that it's able to charge. Just a question, have you tried the restart process?

@hsdirector and @Edithtu, thanks for your efforts in trying the restart process. I've checked with our Support Team and apparently they already took your case under their wings. They'll continue working with you via email.

I had the same thing, only I was getting a 001 error in between each time I tried to reset.  BTW, this is the second aspire this has happened to.  This time I will be receiving a new one, from FITBIT, but I believe this is a product issue, might want to look at the garmin products, not so many issues.

I'm having the same problem as cvann.  Vibrates intermittently and black screen even after holding down button for 5 seconds.  Got the smiley face once, tho.

Post that you want fitbit to replace your HR and list all of the steps you have tried. A fitbit representative contacted me and they replaced mine free of charge. I have not had any problems with the replacement. The old one must have had a software glitch.

I am also having the problem of my inspire will not turn on and wont sync.  I have tried to restart by holding the button for 5 seconds while on charger.  All I get is a blank black screen 😞  I just bought this and have only used it not even 24 hours.

I would make a post on the fitbit website for them to contact you. A representative contacted me and they sent me a new HR and I have not had a problem with it.

This has been an issue for me for the last four months (only bought it 5 months ago). Previously if I changed the clock face while the Fitbit was in the charger it would miraculously work again. This time it will charge and even sync with my phone, but only while attached to the charger. As soon as it detaches, black screen and unresponsive. Any help is appreciated.

I've seen the smiley face but now its completely gone. I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, yet the Fitbit is still not turning on.
