I went swimming yesterday and my fitbit wouldn’t turn on after. It has now been plugged into the charger for over 24 hours and it still won’t turn on. I’ve tried resetting but nothing is happening. I’m not sure what to do now, has anyone else had this problem and been able to resolve it? This happened a month or two ago after swimming and it turned on again after a couple days but it’s very annoying because it is supposed to be water proof.

I went swimming with my Fitbit HR a few days ago and it’s completely dead, won’t turn on, reset or charge, so disappointed as I really miss it……. Fitbit say it’s swimproof up to 50m?

Very disappointed with fitbit, I spoke with one of the chat rooms but was told my watch was out of warranty so therefore the only thing they could do was after me 35% off some of the Fitbit watches and did not offer me a replacement even though it states the Fitbit hr series is waterproof up to 50 metres, this is false advertising. I will not use fitbit again nor would I recommend it to anybody, I will now move over to the Apple Watch
