Inspire HR not working with clip

I had a Fitbit One that I lost - but loved.  I purchased the Inspire HR because it was offered with a clip that could also be worn on your pocket.  First I tried as the wrist bracelet, but found it was counting every arm movement - even if you sneezed.  And, I also discovered that if you were carrying something with the same arm as the bracelet - it would count NO steps.   I transferred to the clip!  Unfortunately, it is only working part of the time - not counting steps, not syncing except occasionally.  So disappointed.

The clip is designed for the Inspire only, not for the Inspire HR model.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
