In 2013 I bought the Fitbit Flex with the band to go around my chest. That is what I'm comparing all my calories to. I've gained 40 lbs since those readings but still doing the same workouts. With the flex a one hour walk at a slow pace burned 200 calories. Now I have the Inspire HR and yesterday it told me my walk burned 363 calories and today the same walk burned 448 calories. It says my pace is 25'53 which I don't know what that means? Myfitnesspal says my pace is 2.0mph and that a one hour slow walk should burn 200 calories. The walk is fairly flat.
I need to get an accurate calorie reading to enter into myfitnesspal. I set up my Inspire HR to have Walking as one of my exercises and that is what I selected before I went for my walk.
My other workouts are close to what I had logged before but a little higher. I'm just shocked that walking for one hour slowly would burn 448 calories, that's how much I would burn running on a treadmill for an hour.

Are you saying there was a Fitbit chest band that connected to the Flex? I don't think that is the case. I realize you might have had a chest strap to measure heart rate since the Flex did not measure heart rate. But that would have been completely separate from Fitbit and must have synced to some other device.
So the first question, when you are comparing calories burned now to 2013, what was your basis in 2013? Were you using the calories burned from the Flex, or from whatever other device you had connected to the chest strap? If you are comparing to the Flex, then the chest strap has nothing to do with it. And since the Inspire HR goes by heart rate and the Flex could only use step count, I would expect the Inspire HR to be more accurate.
Pace of 25'53 mean 25 minutes 53 seconds per mile (yes, the symbols look like feet and inches but that is what Fitbit uses).

You're right, I had another device, it was the fitbit polar. There's no way I burned 450 calories walking slowly an hour, that's what I burn running on the treadmill in the same time.
