Inspire HR "forgets" screen wake setting

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I periodically have to re-enable the "Screen Wake" setting on my Inspire HR tracker. I want it to be on, but it turns off periodically.

It's possible that I've tapped the settings button, scrolled down, and tapped again to disable the function, but it's happened at least three times since I purchased it. Is this happening to anyone else?

Hi @SunsetRunner - that sounds annoying.

I haven’t had any issues with this with my inspire.

Can you please restart your Fitbit and see if it continues?

Im just wondering if something is happening.

To restart:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the tracker until it attaches magnetically. The pins on the charging cable must connect securely with the port.
  3. Press and hold the button on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

please let us know how this goes.

Appreciate the guidance! I'll give this a try and reply with an update.

FYI I noticed that the "screen wake" setting was reset after I charged my device again. Fun times!

Rebooted the Fitbit and I'll keep an eye on it. So far the wake setting hasn't been "forgotten" since!

Sadly this still happens for me, but it's not really a deal breaker. Just annoying...

No words of wisdom to add, just wanted to say you're not alone. I've only had my HR for a couple of days and it's already doing this. For me it very well may be a deal breaker.

This hasn't happened to me in awhile, so it looks like this odd behavior (a bug, you might say) was resolved in a past Fitbit update.
