Inspire HR receiving text notification but not reading the text

Have been reading forums and watching videos for two days now and still cannot get my Inspire HR to actually read my text message. It notifies me of a text message, but when I swipe up it only gives my the option of cancel the notification.Using a Samsung S10 with the Message+ for texts. Please help me before I return.

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not reading your text messages and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Your issue could be the privacy settings on your phone. If you don't allow it to show messages on the lock screen then you might not be able to see them on the tracker. I suggest you try the following to refresh the link between your phone and your tracker and check the necessary settings:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
