I was at 2551 steps early this morning, and my fitbit is recording steps, but then reverts the new number of steps to 2551 after a minute or so. The fitbit site is also not recording my steps. I restarted my device, restarted my phone, no luck. It is also not recording my hourly activity. Anyone else seeing this today? It just started happening this morning.
Update - I'm an Android user, and just got my fitbit Inspire HR on 19AUG.

@KristinKL It's great to see you around. I appreciate the details mentioned.
It's pretty weird that your steps are reverting to number that you previously had. Since you're a new user, I assume you don't have any other Fitbit tracker. However, I would like you to double check that you haven't enabled MobileTrack on your Fitbit app, this will work as a another Fitbit tracker and could mixed the information on your account. You can learn more about it by checking this article: Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?
Regarding your hourly activity, please make sure that you have set the hours on your Fitbit app. You can find more information here.
I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Later that day, almost that evening, my fitbit started tracking again and I was able to step over 7K, but I would say I lost somewhere between 3-5K steps. I'm not running a race against anyone but myself and it was perfectly fine the next day and every day since then. I appreciate the reply.

I have the exact problem now...🙈 Bought my inspire yesterday so today's my first day with it. Used charge 2 before since 2015 I think.
Android user.
It reverts back to 352 all the time 🙈 I've lost about 4000 steps ( my lazy day) What should I do?!

@Fondelius A warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.
I'm glad to hear that you bought a Fitbit Inspire. In this case, I would like you to make sure that your Charge 2 is no longer paired to your account because this could be the reason why your steps are decreasing when you're syncing. Learn more about it by checking this article: Can I use more than one Fitbit device with the same account?
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
