Inspire HR records driving a car as an outdoor bike

Help, my Inspire HR records outdoor bike every time I drive my car. Why is that? I have also Charge 2 and it never did that to me.

@Elcia   I have had just one driving trip count as an outdoor bike ride and that is with several different Fitbits.  You would think that if it's the same technology from model to model and the same algorithms from model to model, then every model should behave the same.  Obviously, that's not the case.

 

First, I think you should try restarting your Inspire HR, maybe 2-3 times.  If this behavior persists, my suggestion is to turn the outdoor bike auto recognition to OFF.  On the Exercise page you have displayed, tap on the gear icon > Outdoor Bike > toggle the setting to Off.
