I have my reminder to move set on my phone but my Fitbit isn't reminding me to move my 250 steps each hour. What gives?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Gronklover. I´ll be glad to assist you with your reminder to move inquiry.
The reminders nudge you to walk at least 250 steps each hour. You'll feel a vibration and see a reminder on your screen at 10 minutes before the hour if you haven't walked 250 steps. If you haven't moved 250 steps, at 10 minutes to the hour you’ll receive the reminder. Do you get any kind of alert or you don´t get any alerts?
I´ll be waiting for your response and keep on visiting the forums.

@AndreaFitbit Greetings! I am having the same issue. Purchased Inspire HR and set it up on Tuesday. I could feel the vibration for the activity reminder. Then yesterday and today there is no vibration. IF i happen to look at the Inspire HR at 10 minutes prior to the end of hour, I do see a message stating how many more steps are needed. BUT NO reminder vibration. If there a fix for this issue?
I am also having trouble getting Inspire HR to sync on my Motorola phone and on my laptop.

Have you tried to set a silent alarm in order to get the vibration? Could you please do it? I wold recommend restarting your device and let me know if this situation persists.
@Jeannejoyful, please try following advise from: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Greetings! I did feel the alarm at 0850. Little startling as I was driving.
🙂 The Activity Reminder did NOT vibrate at 0950.
Just now I was able to sync with the Fitbit app on my laptop. It also
synced on my phone but only after disabling the Bluetooth and letting
Inspire HR reconnect to the Bluetooth. I did NOT try syncing phone while I
was away from my laptop.
Thanks 😊
Andrea, I also have now uninstalled the Fitbit app on my Motorola phone and reinstalled it. I gave it the required location permission and VOILA! It immediately synced with Inspire HR.
Does the band have to be tighter to feel the vibration for the Activity Reminder? So strange because I could feel it when I first set it up. I do see the info about how many more steps are needed for the 250. IF I remember to look at Inspire HR.
So, scratch those last comments. It is still not working. On the laptop, it only works if I check to see if it is connected to Bluetooth. Which it is so I should not have to check each time (or nearly each time) in order for it to sync.
And the phone is not syncing any better than it was before. I still have to disconnect Bluetooth and let Fitbit reconnect it and it MIGHT work or it might not.
I am not the only person having these issues and it seems like Fitbit should have a viable solution. OR do I just need to return this Inspire HR and go back to my old Fitbit One?
Finally, my new Inspire HR is syncing with my Motorola Android phone. YAY!
I shut the laptop off. Then uninstalled and reinstalled the Fitbit app on the phone. That seem

Thank you for getting back to us @Jeannejoyful. I apologize for the delayed response and am happy to hear you're able to sync your Fitbit with your Motorola.
If a device isn’t listed in the Compatible Devices doesn’t mean it won’t work with a Fitbit tracker. We routinely test new devices to ensure full compatibility with Fitbit devices and the Fitbit App, and are constantly working to confirm compatibility with new phone models. A majority of Android phones running version 4.4 or higher will work with our products, however we cannot guarantee optimal performance on devices for which we have not tested and confirmed compatibility.
Please try wearing your Fitbit a little tighter and let me know if the reminders still don't appear.
Keep on visiting the forums. Blessings.

If you would read the message you would know that the problem is that it is NOT vibrating. I'm having the same issue with my brand new Inspire.

I’m not getting reminders when I haven’t reached 250 steps 10 minutes before the hour or it isn’t vibrating after completing the steps on my Fitbit Inspire HR

When I first activated my Inspire Fitbit, it did vibrate to remind me to get up and walk. But after I charged it the first time after wearing if for several days, it now no longer vibrates to remind me. I have checked the settings on my phone and it is indeed set up to remind me 10 minutes before the end of each hour to get up and move and get my steps in, if I haven't already. So it's not a problem with the setting in the app or on my phone, it simply doesn't vibrate anymore, for incoming texts or reminders or anything else.

I started having the same problem this week. I got my Inspire about 2 months ago and I've never been able to see texts synced to it (annoying) but I would get a 10 min alert for 250 steps....now out of nowhere. Nothing. I missed several hours at work this week bc I'd get involved in something and lose track of time (which is why I need the alerts)
