Inspire HR's notifications and alarms not working properly

I've had a Fitbit Inspire HR for just about a year. I loved it at first, but over the last few months the silent alarms work very inconsistently (so I have overslept enough times that I won't use them anymore), and my text notifications don't work. I've tried everything suggested in the community area where this question came up -- turning alarms and notifications on and off, restarting the Fitbit, deleting the app and reinstalling it on my phone, etc. Nothing works to make the text notifications come through the watch ever, and the silent alarm might work for a night or two then quit again. Meanwhile, my watch buzzes nonstop when I'm on my phone, saying "Active Call," which is extremely annoying and I can't get rid of it.
I don't know if these are known glitches or what but I've done all the recommended fixes and nothing works, so at this point I think something is just wrong with my Fitbit. Is there an option to get a replacement?

@saskgrrl It's great to see you in the Community!

Let me help you with your Alarms and Notifications not working as they should and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. For the alarms I suggest you actually delete them, save and sync then add them again.

For the notifications you can try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, on an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

The restart should also help with the alarms and the refresh should help with the call issue you described.

Let me know how it goes.
