Inspire HR's screen time longer

I just received my new Inspire HR after trying my friend’s old Alta and, quite frankly, pushing back for over a year to buy one of these devices. After checking the community postings, it’s now been over a year of users requesting longer screen time option. Today while walking, my screen was useless! It’s a matter of seconds before it shuts off. Sure it’ll use up more battery time, but who cares? It just gets charged more frequently. Come on, let’s get this done.

@Sheri1049 Welcome to the Community. Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for the detailed information shared. I appreciate the research done prior to posting.

Your feedback is appreciated, we're always striving to improve our services offered. I've checked our Feature Suggestion board and I found this idea: Inspire HR keep display on for longer These ideas are reviewed by our team and the status changes based in Fitbit's plans.

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

That’s for the response. I had already read the community responses in your email embedded link.

Another subject I didn’t find in the community was meal/food logging. I realize Fitbit is an activity/health tracker. However I have been a “diary” food tracker since a young age (I’m 70). I was very disappointed with Fitbit food logging and continue to use the Lose It! app. Has there been an consideration to collaborate with one of the more robust food tracking apps to allow syncing to Fitbit? I’m definitely not going to track in 2 places and Lose It follows nutrients and fiber, etc.

Thanks.

@Sheri1049 Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Fitbit and LoseIt.

Your feedback regarding Fitbit's food database is appreciated. Since you're using LoseIt and Fitbit, you're able to link them both and continue logging your food on LoseIt.

Check below the data that's going to sync between those two apps:

From Fitbit to Lose It!:

  • Calories
  • Scale measurements

From Lose It! To Fitbit:

  • Food

I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
