Hi, I've been using my Inspire HR for about a year now and the screen has been working perfectly well. Last week I was notified that I need to update my firmware. I started the update and the white bar was displaying across the screen. I was then notified that the update took place successful however my screen didn't turn back on.
I have tried restarting it by plugging it into the charger connected to a computer and holding the power button for 5 seconds but it didn't restart. I also tried changing the clock face but it still didn't turn on.
My fitbit is working; the app is syncing with my phone, the steps and heart rate are updating on the phone, the heart rate monitor light is blinking. It also charges. Only the screen is not coming on.
I've raised a complaint via mail but haven't received any response. Please let me know what I can do.

Hi @JoeyPN The only other thing you could try is to let the battery run flat for a bit and then recharge it again. Id leave trying that until you have heard from Support as it is a last resort step (lithium batteries dont like to be run flat), but if nothing else works it is worth a try. If you dont hear from Support in the next few days I would contact them again - perhaps try a different contact method.

Hi, @NellyG. Thank you for the suggestion. As you suggested I'll leave that as a last resort shot. Hopefully someone from Fitbit will respond soon!

Honestly disappointed with Fitbit's customer service and the quallity of the inspire HR. I truly expected fitbit devices to last more than 1 year and 2 months or atleast provide good customer service to help fix issues that are clearly software bugs. I was informed that there is no solution and I have to buy a new device.
The screen has completely stopped working right after the software update completed. I wouldn't complain if the device stopped working due to some physical damage.
I was willing to pay the extra price for a fitbit as I thought it's a company that values its customers and would provide high quality products. I'm very unhappy with my experience with fitbit and am forced to look at other companies for my replacement for the inspire HR.
