Inspire HR screen not working

While swimming (which I’ve done with my inspire on before) my screen went black. It’s still counting steps, etc, but the screen isn’t working at all. I can only sync it. When I hold down the button on the left it slightly vibrates. 

I’ve attempted a reset - but I can’t see the screen to swipe right on and it doesn’t seem to be picking up my swipes at all.

Following, I just today had the same issue pop up, after swimming (which I’ve done before with no issue)

I spoke with tech support - who informed me that my Fitbit is "defective"
and that someone would be reaching out to me with what the plan is for
replacement.

I'm looking into an applewatch as this is the 2nd inspire HR I've had break
and I need something more reliable as I use it for work (timer, stopwatch
and the clock) and to track my exercise, protein and water intake due to
being a bariatric surgery patient.

My last inspire HR they replaced with the same model but offered me 50% off
a different model. I took the replacement in lieu of the 50% off.
