GM everyone! Could anyone tell me why my screen isn't working? It was fine last night but today only the time shows; I can't do anything else from the watch. It's like it's frozen.

The same thing has happened to mine. It did not record my sleep last night and none of my steps today.

Mine has done that randomly over the past month or so - goes back to normal after a charge. But this morning, the screen is 100% blank, so I charged it and it’s still blank. I tried syncing to see if it’s recording, but the sync isn’t showing any steps today. Is my device broken?

I did a restart on mine and that worked. I plugged it into my laptop and then held the button on the side for 5 seconds, then let go, a smiley face came up and now it is working fine.

I’m glad it worked for you! Unfortunately, it’s not working for me. One short buzz when I hold down the button, but no screen response.

Getting the exact same response on mine.
Noticed the screen had went completly blank about 3pm today. Tried holding the power button for 5 seconds & simply get a short buzz, nothing else.

I went into the watch faces for the band & selected a different one from the standard / default one that's loaded on the unit when u 1st unpack it from the box.
Once it had downloaded & installed, the display has been fine / shown up when I've pressed the button.

Mine just buzzed as well and did nothing but I changed my clock face and it has been working since then. Hopefully that helps yours too!

I swam with mine for the first time and then my screen just turned off. I tried charging it then while plugged held down the button for 5 seconds, nothing. Tried it again this time pressing for 15 seconds i got the smiley face but then nothing. HELP!

This happened to my daughters today for the first time (she has had it for not quite 2 months). She tried resetting it while it was connected to the wall charger and that did not work (per her). So I connected the USB to my computer and reset it there by holding the button down for 5 seconds (maybe a little longer). It showed a smiley face and now the swipe and touch are working normally again. Phew!

Did you ever get yours to work? I am having the same issue! I tried restarting multiple times and just changed clockface and no difference, still won't let me swipe. Thanks!

Yes. I hooked it up to computer to charge and while still hooked up I held button down more than once it took more than 5 sec. but got the smiley face and has worked ever since.

Thx for instruction to connect to computer and hold button 5 sec Worked for me too . Smiley face came on and now able swipe again

topped using my fitbit because It wouldn't charge so I recently bought a new charger, the same one it came with. I tried charging it with the new charger and it smiled at me, Now the screen is all black and won't work, it still vibrates though.
