Hi @dangernurse, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.
Thank you for the information you've provided regarding the problem with the screen of the Inspire HR screen that only shows time and will not turn off.
Before considering other options, please make sure that you've followed the steps listed here to complete the long restart procedure.
In addition, please try changing the clock face option on the device, this has been useful for some users as well.
