Use got my lilac Fitbit inspire hr on Yesterday , Wednesday 03/04/20.     On my iPad I set up treadmill, walk, yoga, stairclimber, intervals workout, Elliptical......   I synced it. wait until it said syncing ....    It was correct yesterday. But I went to use yoga today.  and everything is messed up....  it has on the tracker treadmill, walk, Pilates, Pilates, Pilates, Pilates....  apparently it wants me to take up Pilates!  but I would like some choices...  lol.  What do I need to do..  it is syncing the heart rate. The steps calories. Etc. so everything else is good..  but why is the excised shortcut not?    Anyone know how I can get this to syne or is something wrong with the unit?

Hello there @Sallyjay, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided about the shortcuts on your Inspire HR, I'll be glad to help you.

I was experiencing the same, but I fixed mine by going into the exercise shortcuts and deleting all of the ones listed (my Inspire HR was showing Pilates, Pilates, Pilates but my app listed run, treadmill, bike etc). Then, I re -added the ones I wanted and synced my phone again.

If that doesn't work, please be so kind to set up your Inspire HR as a replacement device by following these instructions:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

Give this a shot and let me know the outcome, I'll be around.

Thank you..I turned the tracker off and back on... ..  held the button in while plugged into the charger.. is there a different way without the charger so I can restart away from home?   After the restart everything was right...  today I was going for a walk drove there and went to hit walk and all the Pilates were back.. really pissed me off!    Couldn’t  restate it there because I didn’t have the charger..  just restarted it when i got home and it all right again... I think something is wrong with it! Or someone is goofing with me! But It really ticking me off.

Hi there @Sallyjay, thanks for getting back and letting me know the outcome.

If this is still happening even after the restart, I'd recommend the second suggestion I shared with your above. Let's try setting up your Charge 3 as a new device:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

In regards to your question, there's no way to restart your Charge 3 without using the charging cable. However, you can manually reboot by swiping from the clock face to Settings and tap Reboot Device

Let me know if the issue persists, I'll be glad to move forward.

for the misunderstanding I have a fitbit inspire HR... NOT a charge 3... any way.... I have to restart it every morning if I want to keep my exercise shortcuts to be right for a couple of hours BUT then pilates start taking over again I got up at 9:00am checked and there was one pilate and by 12 noon there were two by 1:00pm there were three, by 4:00pm there was 4... the top two of my choices are normally correct. So I moved walk to second place...
BUT I WANT TO KNOW WhO from fitbit's software firmware writers has a cousin's, brother's nephew  on there papa's side   that is sell stuff about pilates????????   LOL
