Hi, I'm having this problem too. After following the steps on restarting, the screen turned black and will not turn back on. It's been a few days so I've tried a few times to connect it to the charger and hold the button down until a smiley face appears, but nothing happens. When connecting it to the charger, it doesn't even vibrate to indicate that it's connected.
