I had an Inspire HR that stopped working after one year. I bought another one, charged it, went through the setup process successfully, but the watch only shows a straight horizontal line instead of the time. The Ap says it is synced, but it does not transmit data. It does not work right out of the box. Any advice?

Sometimes, when the devices show a straight line, that means that your tracker is updating. If you are having any type of problems with this process, I recommend checking the article: Why can't I update my Fitbit device? and follow the instructions provided there.
