This morning, after my Fitbit App updated my Fitbit Inspire HR had a blank screen and would not turn on. The battery was not flat as I had not received any notification of a flat battery and it was at 100% 2 days prior when it last synced. I connected it to the charger and a smiley face appeared and the screen then went blank. After a little while I pressed the side button and the flashing Fitbit logo appeared as well as "001". I have tried a "hard reset" by holding the side button down for 15 seconds. This got rid of the Fitbit logo and "001" but now it just cycles through a blank screen to smiley face to occasionally the Fitbit logo and "001". How can I reset my Fitbit or has it failed beyond fixing?

Hello FatimaFitbit, firstly I wish to point out that on my Fitbit HR I only have 1 x button, not "buttons" as you have asked me to press. After pressing the button a smiley face does appear but the Fitbit does not vibrate and then the smiley face disappears and the screen goes blank. After sometime the smiley face appears again then disappears again. This happens several times until the Fitbit logo and 001 appears again and stays on the screen. I have also tried the steps in the article but as the Fitbit doesn't turn on the steps in the article do not work. This problem started straight after the Fitbit app was updated on my phone.

Hi there @Kev-B! Thank you so much for your answer and for all your efforts.
I'm sorry for the confusion with the buttons, you're right the Inspire HR does only have one button.
