I have an inspire hr. I got a low battery indication, and a little while later the screen changed to the Fitbit logo, with the numbers 001 and IKQMHJJ3.
I plugged the device in and left it for a while but there was no change.
I tried restarting it by holding the button in while it was plugged in button in for 10 seconds. After that the screen went black and I released the button. It showed a smiley face, then a black screen and wouldn't respond. A short while later the 001 error was back.

The same thing happened to mine today but i got it fixed by just re-syncing it using the app. Hope that helps.

My Inspire is 3 months old. It will only show time. I have tried restarting numerous times with no luck.

Woke up.to the same problem. I'll be calling the customer care line this morning. Super disappointed in the product. Hope to get some resolution today.
Purchased on 8/7 from Amazon.
Warranties till 9/7 for return.
Dead on 10/7.
Ain't that something?
I plugged in the cord to my computer, attached the fitbit to the end, pushed the power button for like 8 seconds and then one more time and VOILA! It's now back on.
Hope everyone else finds as fast and easy a fix I it looks like it did.

FitBit sent me a new Inspire, after 3 weeks it went blank too. It is not an iOS13 issue it is with FitBit Inspire.

Same problem here. It was working fine earlier in the day then, while I was on a flight, it went blank. I feel it vibrate when I try to reset and even though blank it continued to track and sync with my phone, but nothing I do gets the display back.

It seems to be a known issue. I ended up taking mine back to the place of purchase and the replaced it for free as it was only a couple of weeks old. Wasn’t going to bother sending it back to Fitbit for them to take 3 weeks+ To repair it and be without it during that time 🙂

Ah, the dreaded Black Screen! I have the same problem here - HR Inspire was bought in April this year (2019) There were a couple of minor glips but I managed to sort them out fairly quickly.
Today, however, the screen suddenly went totally blank. I put it to charge, although I knew that it should still have about 60-70% battery left - but no improvement.
I can't even raise the smiley face, or an error message, although the Fitbit itself does vibrate when I press the button.
Bizarrely, the iPhone app is till working, and is actually syncing much more quickly than it has been doing of late (which has been pathetically slow) - just nothing at all happening with the device itself, alhtough app now says battery is 99%. Anything to try? - or just take it back to the shop?

Thanks for that info, Lcanizalez73
Even more bizarrely than the way it stopped working, the display on my Inspire HR has suddenly started to work again - without me doing anything to make it so. I had put it on my wrist earlier, to see if it would work, and it didn't, but I didn't get around to taking it off again. Just looked at it just now, and it suddenly flashed into life - and has actually managed to count in the additional steps which I've taken while wearing it, while the display was out of action. Weird!
I'm a little bit apprehensive that this may happen again, and, since I have no idea what the problem was, or how it got cured, I probably won't rely on it too much in future. I'll hang onto the information which you gave me, ready to use if required.
Thanks again, Blackcat99

Have had inspire her for a year without an issue. Today screen went blank. Can’t reset. It is charged to 99% but can’t get anything on the screen. No smiley face with reset. Vibrates for a second every couple of seconds. Help

I don't know how to tell you this, but it's time to contact Fitbit customer service. I'm on my fifth Inspire HR, and every time it got to that constant vibration, it was dead, with no way back. Every. Time. Without exception.
