Inspire HR shows a "001 error" message

I have an inspire hr.  I got a low battery indication, and a little while later the screen changed to the Fitbit logo, with the numbers 001 and IKQMHJJ3.

 

I plugged the device in and left it for a while but there was no change. 

 

I tried restarting it by holding the button in while it was plugged in button in for 10 seconds. After that the screen went black and I released the button. It showed a smiley face, then a black screen and wouldn't respond. A short while later the 001 error was back.

Hello,

How did you contact Amazon for replacement? I got my Inspire HR last April and it’s also not working since May.

After so many postings of describing my situation customer service notified me.  There may be heading on the web site that allows you to contact them.R

I am having the same difficulty. Have tried resetting it. Hold button, smile, black screen, and then error code again.

same issue here. this morning after charging it is nothing but a blank screen. i have reset 15 times with no progress. my phone wont even sync to it. and it vibrates about every 20 seconds. please help

Yes. Exactly what mine did. Finally delete with customer service. Waiting.

My husband's won't take a charge either.  Once I did the hard restart it smiled then vibrated every 5 seconds or so.  Then tried again later & got the Fitbit emblem with YL5MIHRK underneath it and  001 directly under that.  Help!

My Husbands did this about 30 days after we bought an INSPIRE HR - did the restart got the smiley face and it eventually went to a blank screen and non respondent. We got frustrated and left it alone. I Randomly picked it up recently - did the restart and it smiled and went to error 001 and ELQ4JV5H but wont synch to his application or do anything else. What else can we do? We liked both having the INSPIRE HR at the same time but don't think we should by a new one if this is common problem. We figured we'd wait until mine goes the same way and shop elsewhere - my husband may just go ahead and do that exact thing soon unless theres something that can fix this on the one that we already bought this year.

Chat with someone on fitbit.com. If they can't fix it (which they cant
since you followed their steps), they will create a work order & someone
will reach out to you via email. Awesome company that does everything
possible to honor their products.

Hi anyone that has had the screen go blank and the button on the side still works and you can feel the vibration with each press held for a second.  I was holding down the button a few seconds and cycling the button presses slow hold followed by a few fast presses as I could feel it vibrate still so some feature was working and I assume that the screen was just not coming back from rest mode/waking up.  After holding and cycling for a while the screen eventually woke up and has been fine since.  I also had my app open on the phone while doing this trying to sync/find the device by refreshing the app page, not sure if this helped or not...  This is the first time this has happened to me, but this is not including the error code.  Thought I'd share in case it helps anyone out.  If this works for anyone else you could maybe turn the wakeup feature off so the screen is always lit and see if it fails again?

I have a new Fitbit Inspire HR that I ordered from QVC. I have it fully charged but the only thing on the display is a straight line. No Fitbit logo. Nothing. I have tried pressing on the button but it does not respond. When I try to update from my phone, it says the Fitbit bluetooth is busy. How to I reset things to make this work?
