I was using my Fitbit Inspire HR & suddenly, the screen went black. I tried charging, it did not charge. I still have a black screen and I cannot reset the Fitbit Inspire HR. It does not respond to anything at this point. My inspire HR is only 8 months old. I have not had any problems up until now. Suggestions?

Can I have a replacement? It was a gift Christmas 2019, I have not used it for a year before it broke.

Mine is doing the same thing. The app says it’s fully charged. I don’t know what else to do.

I've been having the same issue. While I've been able to keep track through my Fitbit app, my watch screen has stopped working. I've tried to reset it multiple time on the charger with no luck. I received my watch for Christmas of 2019 as well.

My fitbit is 9 months old and started to get a blank screen after three months. At first it seemed to resolve itself when i charged it but these episodes are getting more frequent. Over the weekend it took 48 hours, several restarts, several attempts to charge before it finally decided to work properly again. If i unpair it from the app I can't get it to repair as the code doesn't show on screen, or as in the case this weekend the numbers started to cycle and the screen has streaks down it. When it did finally pair with the app the battery lost charge within 12 hours. It is OK now but when this happens next time it might not be possible to resolve. The last episode before this weekend was about 6 weeks ago when the screen froze on the clock face and wouldn't do anything else. Can I get a new one please?

Just see my fitbit has been black screen all day. It was fully charged overnight. Makes little blip noise when i push the button but nothing visible. How to fix? It's definitely less than a year old

I just purchased my Inspire mid June and the screen went black yesterday. I tried charging it and nothings changed. How can this be corrected?

My Inspire is doing the same thing - blank screen though fully charged; gives off a small pulse when the button is pushed. Can I also get a new device?

I did live chat with Fitbit and it was pending update that turned it off. I restarted (didn't know how to do that either) - while fitbit is with charger hold button for 5 seconds and then release - get a smile and it's restarted. Then went to app and did the update (which took 30 minutes). but back to working fine.

Hi @SkeriGray @SusanR500 , and welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.
Thank you for confirming that you're having the same problem with the screen of the Inspire HR.
@SkeriGray, that's great news, thank you for sharing that you were able to resolve by updating the firmware version.
@SusanR500, before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried the restart procedure and the firmware update as well?
Keep me posted.

I did the update. I thought it was going to work. I continued to charge it. When I took it off the charger, it went black again. I am working with customer service at this time for a replacement. Thanks everyone!
