How do I get my Inspire HR to show the sleep stages (REM, light sleep, deep sleep, etc) instead of the sleep stages with awake & restless? I have tried restarting my iphone, but it didn't help.

Did you read the link I gave you?  It explicitly says not to use 'Begin Sleep Now'.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

See Why don't I see sleep stages today?

Inspire does show sleep stages because some nights I get sleep stages, but others I get sleep patterns. Someone else said that it is because the band is too loose or because I entered that I was going to sleep now on the app. Ill try not telling the app I’m going to sleep & see if that makes the sleep display in stages.

Sorry. I thought I was responding to a different post that said it was not possible on The Inspire. Yes, I did see the link & plan to not use the Begin Sleep Now feature and see if that makes the difference. Thank you so very much for your help.

Hi when I got my InspireHR 3 days ago it showed sleep patterns. But since then it only shows sleep stages? How to I get it back to sleep patterns? Help please

You can only see one or the other for each night. If you want to see sleep stages, do nothing. If you prefer to see sleep patterns, then you have to enter on the Fitbit app that you are going to sleep now.

Ok, so I don't enter going to sleep now and the fitbit just knows I am?

Ok, I will try it tonight;

Thanks

I have never used Begin Sleep Now. On the first night I wore the Inspire HR it showed sleep stages - it has never done so since then. Below is a screen cap after the first night and one from last night

  So - how do I get the sleep stages graphic back?

Don’t use begin sleep now. Simply go to sleep without doing anything and it will show the sleep stages.

I have never used begin sleep now as I said.

The sleep stages simply stopped displaying.

Sorry — the full message doesn’t show up in the email. In any event, is your wrist band too loose? Too tight? Not in the suggested position on your wrist? Other than that I don’t have any other suggestions.

Hi. I moved the position to above the wrist as recommended, although the position and fastening were identical on the first and second night with sleep stages showing on night one and not on night two. I have since tried loosening and tightening the strap but nothing seems to make any difference. In fact on night three with the fastening identical to nights One and two no sleep information at all was recorded. This led to a reboot and moving the position and tightness of the strap without much success. I suppose at least it does record some data!

My F Inspire Hr stopped showing sleep stages after 1 yr! Tried all the ‘fixes’ via Fitbit. Nothing. I even cleaned the contacts. THEN, I went into the settings on my device and discovered the heart rate was turned off. Still didn’t work. 😭 Went back into device settings and discovered I had turned on Phone GPS. (The word Heart rate shows just below the GPS OFF - misleading.) Scrolled down one and turned the REAL Heart Rate on. (Didn’t realize I had turned it off.)  IT’S FIXED!!!!! ❤️
