Several times now, my Inspire HR has given wildly inaccurate sleep start times, giving shorter sleep duration andpoorer quality. Last night, it put sleep start 4 hours after I actually went to bed (and I was asleep in minutes).
As a night shift worker, I try to keep a close eye on my sleep quality and until recently, Fitbit was a great help for this.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @jayaitchdoubleu.
Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling about this situation and recommend doing the following:
It is possible to correct the sleep record from your dashboard by following the steps from this help article: How do I edit or delete sleep logs in the Fitbit app?
You can find more information about tracking sleep in How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
Hope this helps.

I have the reverse of this! My inspire is showing sleep time an hour or more before I went to bed! Also it no longer shows automatically and I have to add the sleep log every day!
