Inspire HR starts workout by itself

It's so annoying! Just today my Fitbit inspire HR has tracked over 10 workouts without me touching the device. And that's not including the meditation app starting or the stopwatch. It's constantly buzzing on my arm, often without me moving.

Screen wake is turned off and I have done a hard reset several times. This has always happened but got significantly worse after the last hardware update. Close to throwing it away, it's so frustrating.

Is anything being done improve this?! Does anyone know any solutions?!

Hi @Haradybeans,  it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Inspire HR starts workouts all of a suddenly and randomly. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like to know if the issue persists or if your Fitbit device stopped tracking workouts by itself. Also, let me know if you tried the restart process as described in this help article.

Looking forward to your response.

Hi @JuanJoFitbit

Thank you for getting back to me.

The issue is pretty constant and happens every day. I restart the Fitbit fairly regularly too, using the method outlined in the article. Nothing seems to improve it and as I said, the last software update seemed to make things worse.

How support or advise you can give would be ace!

Thanks!

Hi @Haradybeans, thank you for getting back and trying the restart process. I'd like you to try one more workaround which has been helpful for this type of issues.

Please set up your Inspire HR from scratch. After this, check out if it stops tracking workouts by itself and stops buzzing constantly.

Let me know how it goes.
