Inspire HR steps walked decreased after a walk

I always check my steps after my morning walk and a couple of hours later, I'll check my steps again and they have decreased.  This has been going on for a while.   It will be a decrease of anywhere from 200 - 1000 steps.  Actual miles walked seems ok.   For example Strava recorded my walk at 2.11 miles and Fitbit is showing 2.3 miles after I've been home a while and done some things around the house.

Hi @Ladoss, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Since you mentioned that your Inspire HR has lost steps some hours later after your walking activities, I'd like you to restart your device as described in this help article.

After this, monitor your Inspire HR during the next 24 hours and see if it doesn't lose steps anymore.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I wasn't able to really pay much attention to it last wee but I did restart the device.  I noticed this morning that I had 6,677 steps after a walk and it's now an hour later dropped to 6,130.
