Inspire HR stopped syncing to my Android phone

I've spent days trying to find help (and explanation) as to why my Inspire HR suddenly stopped syncing with my Samsung.  Have been able to update information on Laptop but would love to know:-

a) How do I sync on the Laptop Dashboard as I cannot on the Fitbit Phone Ap?

b) How do I get my Fitbit Ap to sync again?  I've been thru all the steps as advised by Fitbit Assistant but nothing seems to work.

Hi there, @cmk16. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Inspire HR before reaching out. I understand where your concern is coming from. 

 

Please note syncing difficulties might be caused for different and several reasons. May I know the model of your mobile phone? Please make sure it meets the requirements listed here.

 

In the meantime, please make sure you've followed every single step provided in this help article Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Hi there

My Fitbit Inspire HR also stopped synching on Friday night with my Samsung. The android phone is a new Samsung A52 5g and was working fine up until then. I have now not been able to update since then and the clock has also changed by an hour and is permanently wrong. I've gone through all the trouble shoots many times and the manual regarding synching. Even reinstalled the app. I'm now wondering if an update has been carried out somewhere which had affected something?

Any help appreciated!

Hello, sorry for the delay in replying but we have been moving house.

 

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy A22 and up until a few days ago has been working fine with my Fitbit since approx Oct last year.

 

Having seen the post from dhl162 I'm now wondering if my phone has also done an update that has caused this issue.

 

I've been thru every step with Fitbit support but this issue is still there.

This has also happened to CWong1 who has posted a couple of days ago. So I'm thinking there must be an update issue.

Can anyone from technical support help us or make any suggestions? My Fitbit not only says the wrong time but is also not updating my account and records. Buying a new one seems a bit drastic and expensive!

Hello - I'm still not able to sync my Inspire HR to the app - can someone please help me.
Also I'd appreciate advice on how to add my steps manually via the Laptop until someone can help me with this ongoing issue.

Any response yet?  I have an  iphoneX and am having the same issue.  The time is off by 2 hours and it's not syncing or recording and won't restart after holding down the button.

So in the end the only thing that worked was disconnecting / removing my phone from my account completely. I then readded it as a new phone and that worked. I lost all the information from when it went wrong to the point of me reconnecting, but it worked. I'm a week down the line and it's still working and updating my account fine.

Hi, please see my reply to my post above which worked. Complete removal from my account of the watch and then re-adding as a new phone has been the only thing that has worked.

Does not affect polishnolagirl...I have an iPhone and it stopped syncing for me in June. Wearing the fit now and it says June 9 (so it has been over a month but I have been really busy and thought it was "dead".

I have a Samsung A52 so it might be different if you have an iPhone.

There are other suggestions in the thread of other options to try which may work for you, they didn't for me, but you might have a different issue. Have you tried completely disconnecting your phone from your phone account and re'adding it again as a new phone?
