My Inspire HR has worked wonderfully and then at 2am stopped working even though I didnt have a low battery when I went to bed (at least that is when it thinks I woke up per the app). I charged it this morning before taking the dog for a walk and barely into the walk, it went dark and hadnt tracked the steps. Since I got back I made sure it charged all the way, but died again. I have tried all the trouble shooting I could find on here for similar issues although none seemed to match exactly (put it on charger, held button for 5 seconds, saw smiley to restart AND uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It seeemed find yesterday and today the battery just keeps dying all of a sudden? any other suggestions? it is expensive to think I already have to buy another one.

This happened to me again yesterday. I've had this issue 3 times with different FitBits over the last few years. Last time I was within the 1-year warranty period, so they replaced the device, but this time my warranty literally just expired. Will see if they'll replace it this time, but not hopeful. They usually offer a discount to buy a new one. I really like the FitBit, but I'm continually frustrated by how after just 1 year it stops working. Last time I swore I wouldn't buy another Fitbit, but not really up to spending a huge amount of money on an apple product.
