Inspire HR stopping counting after 9994 Steps

I got a walking desk this week. It's slow but I get about 30k step on it if I walk about 6 hours. For the last 3 days my fitbit will stop counting steps at 9,994. Restarting it will usually solve the problem, but I'm getting a but frustrated that it's happened 3 days in a row. This happened once in the past but no consecutively like this.

By my estimates I've "lost" about 3-5k steps before I notice that it's gotten to 9,994. I feel like I need to watch it constantly because of the stopping. How do I resolve this once and for all?

Hi @obmckenize nice to see you around. Thanks for joining this family, hope you like what find here. Smiley Happy

Congratulations, a walking desk will help you to get a new level in your fitness goals. 30K is a great number of steps. Thanks for reporting the issues with your Fitbit Inspire HR and for trying to restart it. I'd suggest to go to the Settings on your Inspire HR and chose the option "clear user data". Then restart your Fitbit once again and set it up as a new device.

If this doesn't help, keep me posted.

Over the weekend I didn't get steps enough to trigger the stop. It happened again this morning so I've reset the user settings on the device. I will have to wait for tomorrow to see if it happens again. I will update tomorrow

This did no resolve the situation. It stopped again today just shy of 10k. I'm getting a little tired of having to stop what i'm doing and restart it, since to restart it I have to plug it in.
