My Inspire HR keeps failing to track HR during weightlifting. I’ve moved it up and down my wrist, kept the sweat wiped away, tightened it, loosened it, and swapped wrists. It’s so frustrating. I’ve only had it 5 months. I feel like it should do a better job of tracking HR since it has “HR” in its name.

@Derek1645 It's good that the community is growing!
Let me help you with your Inspire HR not recording your heart rate and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. When doing the exercises your wrist may be at an angle which will difficult your tracker from reading your heart rate. Still I suggest you clean the back of your device with cotton and rubbing alcohol and restart it. Turn the heart rate off, save and sync then turn it on save and sync again. Also check these tips to improve the heart rate reading on your device.
Let me know how it goes.

@Derek1645 thank you for the update.
Really happy to hear that your Inspire HR is working fine after you tried the suggested troubleshoots. Also thank you for sharing that this worked for you as this may encourage other members to try this if they are in the same situation.
I'll be around.

Well it’s back to doing the same thing. I did all the things above and this time it didn’t help at all. It is back to randomly not tracking HR during exercise. I shouldn’t have to fight this thing so much to get it to do what it’s supposed to do.

I am facing the same problem & my Inspire HR stopped tracking heart rate 8 hours back & still not tracking so it cant be the issue with network or wrist position. Already cleaned it thoroughly, rebooted it 3-4 times, unpaired & paired the device & mobile app 3-4 times, turned off & again turned on the heart tracking in device 3-4 times...and each of these steps result in 0 positive result & I am still without heart rates in my device and mobile app. worst part is that I bought this only 3.5 months back & this malfunctioned so soon. Its pretty disappointing to see Fitbit devices lasting even less than what Chinese fitness tracker do specially considering how cheap they are & exorbitant prices of Fitbit devices.
Also for last 5-6 days my inspire HR is giving me incorrect values for total steps, distance, calories burnt, Speed/Pace for the same duration & intensity of exercise in comparison to what I get through Google fit. There is a good 1000+ steps difference
