I have had an Inspire HR for 18 months. Recently it stopped logging my sleep hours. To try and remedy this I removed my Fitbit app thinking I could download it again to fix the problem. I now cannot download as it says my phone is not compatible. It was OK previously!! Now the clock is losing time. I have tried to download Fitbit connect to my laptop but it seems to be the regular Fitbit app that expects pairing with my phone! This is a vicious circle!!! Please advise how to resolve. Many thanks.

@BernieF348 The Inspire 2 isn't compatible with Fitbit Connect. Do you have an older model phone? Fitbit recently updated the minimum OS requirement. The minimum OS is 13.0 for iPhones and 8.0 for Android phones. What model phone do you have?

I have a Moto G5 Android 7.0. If I can't use the Fitbit app or Fitbit Connect I am basically just left with a pedometer. I can't even use it as a watch as the time is wrong. Any ideas much appreciated.

@BernieF348 I'm sorry, but a compatible smartphone/tablet is the only solution.

You buy a fitbit to use with your phone. You don't buy a phone so you can keep using your fitbit. This has happened before & I just thought I was unlucky. Obviously not! If this is how Fitbit carries on its business I will never buy another one. I'm sure Fitbit does not care but I cannot express how disappointed I am.
