Hi,

Went for a run today and set my fitbit to track my run but it stopped tracking suddenly. I tried to start again 4 times but the device would simply stop for no reason after 5 or 10 mins?

What can I do?

Nice to see that you're digging into the Fitbit Forums @RC1971, let me give you a warm welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear that you're having this inconvenience when tracking your runs. It might be that you need to restart your Fitbit to make sure it isn't having hardware issues. Make sure you're not pressing the side button while running.

For your missing activities, you can manually log them on the Fitbit app.

My Fitbit Inspire HR has been doing this for over a week now. I’ve tried restarting it several times and it still happens. This issue, it not downloading data to my phone correctly, intermittently delivering notifications, and routinely failing to give me reminders, I’m about ready to give up on Fitbit. My Inspire is less than a year old, and this might be the last straw. It’s a fitness tracker that routinely doesn’t track my fitness activities. Is there a way to have this replaced since it’s still under warranty?
