Inspire HR sync & track troubles since update

Hi there!

I am a happy HR user; it really helps me to be more active.

However, the last couple of days I am troubled by a variety of bugs:

- Auto sync stopped. I have deinstalled HR in the app and deleted it completely. Downloaded the Fitbit app several times now to get my HR to sync. It seems to work now (but for how long?)

- My active minutes are 0, even though I have done two long walks. However, my steps are tracked correct.

- My sleep has not been tracked/rated since 10 feb

I am not sure what to do to get my HR to work proper again. Please help me out!

@sannew4k Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!

Let me help you with your Inspire HR not syncing nor tracking your information. You can try refreshing the link between your phone and your tracker by doing the following:

  1. Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  2. Restart your phone and restart your device
  3. Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  4. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  5. You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Regarding the active minutes, they are granted based on the intensity of the activity not for the length of each one. So for example if you walk for an hour but start jogging/running for  minutes then most likely the activity will be detected but only grant  active minutes as this was the time spent in a high intensity activity. You can read more about active minutes here.

Finally to record your sleep, your device will start recording sleep after it detects an hour of inactivity. If you have a light sleep or move too much then this may difficult your sleep detection. Additionally you can try wearing your device on your non dominant hand to decrease the amount of movement it is subjected to. Finally you can restart your device. You can also manually log your sleep time. You can read more about sleep detection here.

Let me know how it goes.
