Inspire HR synced and deleted 17K Steps

This is so tedious.  I opened my app to sync the Inspire HR, showed in the app the little firework thing for over 20K steps and then suddenly dropped at about 3800 and synced that to my device as well.

 

First, this is my only device, I only have one.  I have seen other topics that immediately say two devices....this is not that.

 

How do I fix this?

Thank you for adding that you only have one device. What I would like to know is if you have any third party app linked to your account? Or if you have manually logged any activities on your account? These two could affect your step count. If this isn't the case then please restart your tracker. You could add a walking activity to have a record on your account.
