Inspire HR touch screen not working/battery dies in 2 hours

My Inspire HR is a few months old. The touch screen isn't working at the battery loses full charge in 2 hours. I have tried resetting it and changing the clock face, but the touch screen is still unresponsive. Any help is appreciated!
