the Last two days my Fitbit has tracked my steps but doesn’t show any exercise data OR record a day of exercise.  Frustrated.  Anyone????

Same! I’ve had this issue for over two weeks now 😞 I’ve contacted them but it’s proving pretty useless at the moment. It won’t allow me to record an exercise but counts steps!!

Thanks for saying this. It’s frustrating as we have it to do exactly that!

I’m on a regime and take pride in seeing my days of exercise as well as my
heart rate while doing so. Not happy.

Exactly the same, last two days, my daily run / cycle, which had been being auto recognised no problem for the last two weeks (since I first got a Fitbit), are no longer being recognised. If I input it manually it clears my active minute counter to 0.

Had the exercise tab crashing the app problem last week and the steps posted to fix worked, tried doing that again today just incase along with restarting my Inspire HR, restarting my phone. Bit disappointed with the problems after only two weeks, I love it when it works.

Dead on. Everything the same. I've contacted their support today - it's
got to be a glitch that others are having. It's frustrating isn't it?
I have had mine almost a year and I've never had a problem, just so you
know. Hopefully we get it sorted.
Let me know if you hear anything and I'll do the same.

Yes it is frustrating, but glad to hear it's the only trouble you've had in a year. Absolutely, I'll also report it and hopefully it'll get sorted.

I hope this gets to you
I spoke with Fitbit
Sounds like our Smart Track was not working properly.
If you charge your Fitbit and hold down the button until you see a smiley
face or it vibrates you will re-synch your tracker.
Make sense?

Today, it said I only exercised 9 minutes after I synced my app, but before my device said 74...so frustrating. My daughter has the same device, but no issues (hers is about 6 months newer). I restarted my FitBit, restarted my phone...let’s hope it works.

I’m so glad to see I’m not the only one having this problem.

Ive been wearing mine since like January and exercising nearly daily since mid March and haven’t had s this this problem. But today i noticed that it didn’t log my Zumba on Friday or my walks Saturday or Sunday.

It logged active minutes each day, and I was able to manually enter the Zumba, but when I i tried for the walk walks it s erased all the active minutes.

I spoke with Fitbit and the Smart Track wasn’t working.
You need to restart your device.
If you put the watch on the charge like you would go charge it - then hold the button down until you feel the wAtch vibrate.
That should fix the problem.

I restarted mine several times last night and did a whole bunch of other things I saw online. Going to do Zumba in about 10 minutes so I’ll know soon if it worked!

Make sure when you’re going to press the button down that the screen on
your watch shows charging in real time or it won’t work. Good luck!

Mine worked today after a restart yesterday (I actually restarted it about 4 times because I read someone suggesting to do it 3 times in a row).  And I also toggled the auto-recognize exercises off and then back on.

But again, it worked today and I am very thankful for that.  Thanks for your help!

ill also try the multiple restarts because just one didn’t work. I lost 36 active minutes today upon syncing 😢
