Inspire HR tracks sleep only part of the time

My inspire HR is less than a year old.  Used to track sleep fine. Now it stops every night after about 4 hours or doesn’t track it at all.  (No, I’m not sleeping just 4 hours every night).  I’ve restarted it multiple times and support said to switch the sleep setting to sensitive.  Neither of those has helped.  Anyone else have this issue?  Or is this Product just a dud?

Super disappointed in Fitbit. Doesn’t seem like this basic functionality is covered by refund or warranty 7 months in so seems like best to switch to another tracker unless there’s a fix.

This happens quite frequently to me as well. In my case, it is not a recent occurrence. It is something that has happened since I bought the Inspire HR back in March of this year.

When the fitbit stops tracking my sleep early, I have found that if I manually edit the sleep end time to match the time I actually woke up in the app or on the fitbit.com dashboard, the sleep event will update to include sleep stages for the missing hours. I've also found that if the sleep time logged by the fitbit is too short and only the basic sleep information is shown instead of sleep stages, I have to delete the entire sleep event and manually enter the sleep start and sleep end times. Then the sleep stages are shown for the night. Sometimes I have to delete and reenter the event multiple times to get the fitibit app to show sleep stages instead of the basic information.

Hopefully you see the same.
