Inspire HR using phone's GPS and data

I'm interested in purchasing an Inspire HR specifically for it's GPS pace tracking. When I go on distance runs I like to see my pace per kilometer, does the Inspire HR display pace on the screen in real time? I've also read that it requires the phone's GPS tracking, so if I take my phone along on a run will I have to use data for my pace to show up?

Hello @TimSaari, welcome to the Community forums.

Thank you for your inquiry about the pace, I've checked that indeed you'll be able to see the pace information right on the display while you're performing the activity, however, could you please provide a few more details of what you'd like to see? Do you mean that you would like to see the pace information divided per kilometer, or an average pace?

Regarding the Connected GPS and the data from your phone, this feature will work via Bluetooth, so you don't need to see your phone's data to see the pace, but you may need to use it eventually to sync the information afterwards.

Keep me posted.

Thanks for responding, that answers a lot of questions. I would like to see
the pace per kilometre on the screen while I run. So for smart watches it
might say, 4min per kilometre. Hope this clarifies what you needed to know.
